Historic Sites of Sham

The fifth volume in the Ladakh series – “Historical Sites of Sham” was released on 29th August 2024 during the INTACH Awards Ceremony along with the 2nd Edn. of the “Historical Sites of Purig”. The listing of Sham Valley includes about 495 heritage buildings/sites out of which 275 heritage sites were not known in the existing literature. The second edition of the “Historical Sites of Purig” has richer illustrations and includes new sites documented since the release of the first edition.
