Capacity Building Workshop on Listing and Documentation by IHA

IHA organised a capacity building workshop on “Understanding and Listing of Built Heritage” from 11th to 16th September 2023 as part of the PD Diploma course, in collaboration with the Listing Cell. Last four days of the workshop were solely dedicated to developing an understanding of the listing exercise, covering various topics like understanding listing format, mapping heritage properties through “INTACH Quick Heritage Survey” mobile app, GIS as data management and processing tool, case-study of “Listing of Hisar”, field survey of heritage properties of Ghaziabad, working sessions, discussions and review. It was an exhaustive workshop that provided the participants an in-depth understanding of the listing exercise along with hands-on training.
